Document Management Link

Document Management link, allows you to attached multiple files and documents to Sage 300 ERP (formerly ACCPAC) fields by drag and drop from within Sage 300 ERP, saved to either Microsoft SharePoint or an accessible file server. Documents saved in SharePoint or accessible file server can also be viewed from Sage 300 ERP – when saved in the configured place. Your documents can be linked to most filed, eg. Invoices, Orders, Expenses Claim, Delivery Documents, Account Information, Journal Entries. This gives an economical document management system without a high cost.

Gain rapid access to your documents through your existing Sage 300 ERP screens. Document Management Link puts the information where you can find it, when you need it.. Use it to support all processes which require supporting documentation. If you use SharePoint you can benefit from its collaboration and security features and initiate workflows for document notification and approval.

Notes

Notes, lets you attach an electronic note to Sage 300 ERP (formerly ACCPAC) fields, to help users complete their daily tasks more effectively. You record your own information in a Note, giving you context and data sensitive pop-up notes from any Sage 300 ERP (ACCPAC) screen, excluding grids (lines).  You can also include photos in the pop-ups.

Any easy way to guide Users with messages that say what you want, when they need it.

Messages can be about specific data or fields, or customers or products. Notes messages can show every time a field/screen is used or tied to specific customers and products. No need to look up Operations Manuals, find a lost reminder or have wrong data: an easy online message can solve these issues. Setup can be customized with user definable Note types and colors, notification by pop up message or system tray icon to indicate different types of messages, and role-based Notes to target your messages to the right people. This tool is impressively flexible.

Process Scheduler

Automate data integrity checks, day end, posting of batches, run other programs and reporting (with Report Runner).

Developed by Orchid Systems, Process Scheduler enables you to schedule when your Sage 300 ERP (ACCPAC) data is checked and backed up and to schedule automation of other processes. It maximizes system resource usage by allowing you to automatically perform these tasks overnight, whilst the system is not being used, and automating processes for when required. Checking the integrity of your Sage 300 ERP data and running processes on a regular basis has never been easier!

Optional Fields Table with Spreadsheet Add-In

If you need to record extra information, analyze your ERP data or prepare forecasts or budgets, Orchid Information Manager Optional Tables opens your horizon, frees you from the limitations of your standard Sage 300 ERP (ACCPAC) data. Optional Tables lets you create new fields (facts) in any module of Sage 300 ERP master files (dimensions) and gives you the power to use this information in many ways.

You are creating custom data structures within your Sage 300 ERP database (stored in information Sets/Infosets). Manage KPIs, budgets, forecast, actual results and non-financial data at any level. Report at the level you define with the combination of dimensions and facts you specify, using financial, non-financial and your own custom data.
